Redemption!

Wow! What a day at Western States. My head is still spinning on just how perfectly the day went. Since crossing the line, I have just been overwhelmed by the support and attention that I have been getting. Thank you so much. Every comment has meant so much and I apologize that I just haven't had the time to respond to each one individually. Race report is in the works and will be up at irunfar.com soon!

Congratulations Pam! I was glued to the computer feed reading your updates and pulling for you the whole way. Just one question - Do you think Injinji will give you a free pair of socks now?!

Steve- haven't heard from you for a while. Welcome back and hope you are doing well. Your site is now my surrogate feed reader since Google killed theirs. Consistent is exactly how I would describe the day. There wasn't any section that was phenomenal, but they were all rock solid.

Rob- thanks for all your support. I saw you were rooting for me on the Twitter feed. And yes, it looks like I'll be working with Injinji the rest of this year. :)

pam, did you have a chance to read through the twitter feed? i followed it for a bit and checked in throuhout the day-especially when you and team Oregon started leading the race!
"what does pam eat?" "she's a heelstriker!?" "how does someone take 10 hrs. off their time in one yr? impossible... wait, nevermind." etc. i got a bit of a kick out of reading all the chatter i am sure you got or will get a bigger kick out of all the comments!
can't wait to hear more about the race!

Yeah I'm thinking this is the future cover of Utlra Runner magazine. Gail first brought this up even before she saw the picture, when we were at the awards ceremony.

Great run. Cheering for you all the way. I had a feeling you could do it since Run Rabbit. Congrats.

Your race was more than redemption. My big "redemption" will just be recovering from the big surg. I was thinking...'nothing to it. That soon changed. For the past four days, I've been a zombie. But, getting there (back to normal)
slowly. Look forward to next week, love Dad
